Heavy Duty 9 inch Retractable Quick Release Trolling Motor Mount Guaranteed to Last Forever
CNC Machined from 0.25″ 6061-T6 plate this is a strong linear mounting system with a lifetime, unlimited use, warranty*. This model retracts ~9 inches and is designed to provide a retractable mount base and bracket for your Minn Kota, Motorguide, Rhodan or any other trolling motor with up to 60 inch shaft length. If you want to use your standard quick release mount such as RTA-17, MKA-21, RTA-54, RTA-62, MKA-64, just add a BMAP-54 and you are all set! With a built in simple to use quick release mechanism, simply remove the thumb screw and slide the motor off the end of the rail. Easy! Our system is the only one available that AUTOMATICALLY retracts on impact and can adjust the amount of force needed to move the carriage along the rail in a linear or non-linear fashion. Along with the completely hands free integrated brake system that prevents the motor from moving unless you want it to, there is simply no better mounting system available today.

If you can’t get bolts within 3.75 inches, we recommend using a SS-9-UHD (first bolt up to 6.5 inches from rub rail) OR a SS-9-UHD + BMAP-RE (first bolt up to 10.5 inches from rub rail)

- If you need more than 9 inches we fully support up to 44 inches with our SS-X-HD product that is sold per inch. Most installs with modern motors do not need this

Saw this on my buddy’s boat and had to get one. I constantly had a problem with my motor hitting the guide posts on my trailer. Problem solved. I was also worried that the motor would move when the water got rough, but it is rock solid. It only moves when I move it. The mount weighs less than my old mount. Works better than I thought. I did not have enough room with the factory Rhodan puck to get it to drop and get all four bolts thru the deck. With this unit, I now have six 1/4″ bolts, a backing plate, fender washers and nylock nuts. It’s pretty secure. I also like the fact very little of my Rhodan is hanging way out over the bow. It retracts nicely. It was a challenge working the Rhodan in around a windlass and an anchor locker on my KeyWest 268. I felt the Shuttle Slide gave me more mounting options.

The Shuttleslide works well for my need to install a base that would reach beyond the rub rail without having to build a custom aluminum base. I have limited access to the bolts in the anchor locker on my Parker 23SE so a traditional Minn Kota mount was not an option. The ShuttleSlide allows me to use 4 bolts that I can reach while providing a solid foundation for a heavy Minn Kota 112 72 inch trolling moter. We have used this in a strong tide in Morehead City with no issues at all. It has taken rough water and doesn’t appear to create any issues with the deck due to the large washers. Great product.

I just bought a new Ulterra with the Mega DI & SI Transducer last month and decided to install it myself on a 2002 Skeeter 190. I ordered a standard Minn Kota quick release bracket at the same time I ordered the Ulterra. When I got the Ulterra and was ready to install it I was almost horrified by the amount of overhang it has when installed correctly – almost 9”! No way this was going to slide on or off my trailer without hitting. Not to mention pulling up to docks and piers! I stopped the installation and started looking on the internet. Minn Kota offers a sliding bracket but it only gives you a 6” slide. That IS NOT enough for a temperamental 3k motor! I finally found a guy out of Florida that manufactures the Shuttleslide mounts. He makes one with a full 9” slide. Talked to him on the phone and he made sure exactly what boat I had and what Ulterra I had bought and assured me he had what I needed. Paid him and had it on my doorstep in 2 days!! Very easy install and works great! It even work with the Minn Kota quick release bracket so it really was a win win!

In order to be able to put the boat on the trailer the motor had to be offset so it would not hit the winch stand. This caused the head of the motor to stick out of the hull area. This made it difficult when launching from narrow ramps as the motor could be damaged by impact on a dock for example.
With the ShuttleSlide installed, the motor is now installed more on the center line, the head does not stick out, and the boat can be launched and retrieved with no issues. So far I am very satisfied with this unit. Installation was very easy, instructions were simple, and it solved a couple of headaches.

1994 Sportsman key west 1720cc, ordered the 9″ and DPA-1, comes very close to my anchor locker when the trolling motor is slide in to the boat. Overall very satisfied and it makes a whole lot easier for docking. Without it it was a disaster looking for a place to happen!!!

Single best addition to my boat – EVER! Without it, there was simply no way to keep my 80lb Terrova (60″ shaft) from sticking out too far when stowed, and banging the dock. This HD9 product is really WELL BUILT – simple, yet elegant in its purpose. The customer service from Shuttleslide (even on a Sunday!) was superb, with great guidance. I did the install myself, and so long as you “measure twice and (drill) once” you’ll be good to go. They have it designed to work with, and without an RTA17 removable puck mount from Minn Kota (which I opted to use). I’m so pleased with this product and, like others, will never have a trolling motor without one from now on. GREAT PRODUCT, does EXACTLY what they said it would, installs easily (with proper preparation), and I’m super pleased.

First of the customer service is exceptional. I called and a real person answered the phone and was very pleasant and very knowledgeable. There was no trying to up sell me into products I didn’t need, actually it was the opposite. The lady that helped me wanted some basic info and then she explained what I should get, turned out to be the SS-9-HD. I also ordered the base plate the utilized the existing holes in my deck from the RTA 17. I also added the top plate to remount my RTA 17. I felt it would be easier for me to put the motor on the puck rather than slide it into the guide every time. The entire system is well designed, thought out thoroughly and very well made and finished. The packaging was top notch and everything needed was in the package. My install was fairly easy since the 4 holes from the RTA17 were reused. I did match drill the other 2 holes in the base plate, even though they were not really necessary. Great company to deal with. Fantastic customer service, and a great product that works like it is supposed to. I installed this on a 2022 Excel Baypro 203 and. Minnkota Terrova 54”. Before the Shuttle Slide, my trolling motor hung over the front so far, that on most ramps the motor would hit the bow roller both launching and loading. In the retracted position my motor is completely out of the way, the additional couple of inches in height helps a little also. Thanks Shuttle Slide for a great product that really solves a problem.

Got this mount with the BMA-12 because I wanted to reuse the 4 holes from my MKA-21. Worked perfectly. Doesn’t hit my trailer or bow roller any longer. Triton T17 Crappie Pro. Very impressed.
